The 3 AI tools I'm using to build products without coding

After testing lots of AI tools over the last year, a handful stood out for building MVPs and full-fledged products with zero traditional coding.

These lead the pack:

Windsurf

Windsurf is like a senior software engineer inside of a code editor.

In my experience it is the top AI IDE on the market right now, outperforming Cursor. If you aren't technical it takes some practice, but with Windsurf's Cascade feature you can use AI to generate and edit entire code bases. You can use a variety of AI models, including western-hosted DeepSeek R1 as of today!

Overall, Windsurf is the best tool to build complex applications.

Replit

Replit is like a full-stack developer that excels at creating simple apps.

Replit is a fully-integrated platform, that has strong built in development and deployment features. It doesn't offer as much control as Windsurf, but it is much easier to use. The agent feature let's you plainly describe your app in natural language, sometimes building it correctly in as little as one-shot.

Overall, Replit is the best tool for building simple products quickly.

v0

v0 is like working with a UI designer who writes frontend code.

v0 essentially allows you to design functional Figma mockups with a codebase that can be exported. The platform is setup specifically for creating exceptional frontend interfaces in React. This pairs exceptionally well with AI IDEs like Windsurf, producing quick designs ready for full development.

Overall, v0 is the best tool to prototype elegant UI.

Now get building.
